Inter-House Basketball Tournament 2021-22

The Annual Basketball Tournament of Burhani Serendib School was held on the 22^nd of January 2022 at School Basketball court.

The event commenced with the traditional Opening Ceremony, as all three houses came forward lead by their respective house captains and assembled in the court. The Opening Ceremony consisted of Tilawat-e-Quran and the welcome address by the Games Captain, followed by the singing of the School Song.

They say, “Good things come from hard work and perseverance”, and this holds true as our talented basketball players put on a tough fight and showed great skill and spirit in all the matches played. Both junior, as well as the senior boys played exceptionally well after a long awaited gap of 2 years of Covid 19.

For the very first time the entire tournament went live where the parents joined online to view and support their teams.

The winners of the Annual Inter-House Basketball Tournament 2021/2022 were as follows:

Junior Boys
Champions – Najmi House
Runners Up – Saifee House

Senior Boys
Champions – Najmi House
Runners Up – Imadi House

Overall, the event was a success as students from all houses were on their toes cheering for their house, giving a boost to the players and the audience joining online felt joy watching them play as all the players evidently showed hard work, zeal and commitment.
