Fifty-seven students from Burhani Serendib School embarked on an enriching journey to Misar, Egypt, from December 7th to December 17th, 2023. Their days were woven with a tapestry of diverse activities, seamlessly blending the spiritual and worldly realms.
Each morning commenced with a collective prayer of Fajr Namaaz at Jamea Anwar, followed by a soul-nurturing visit to Rasul Hussain A.S. The pilgrimage extended to Moulatuna Zainab, Moulatuna Ruqaiyah, and Moulatuna Nafisa A.S, with heartfelt Ziyarat performed thrice during the safar.
The expedition further unfolded with a visit to Alexandria, where the students paid homage to Nabi Daniyal and marveled at the majestic Masjid of Moulana BadrulJamali. Ziyarat of Moulana Malekul Ashtar added a profound spiritual dimension to their journey.
In the midst of these religious experiences, the students immersed themselves in the vibrant tapestry of Misar’s culture, engaging in sightseeing ventures. The iconic Pyramids of Giza, a captivating theme park, the immersive Pharaonic Village, Snow City, museums, and an array of other attractions added layers of fascination to their sojourn.
This expedition not only enriched their spirits through religious engagements but also provided them with a kaleidoscope of experiences that will resonate in their memories for years to come.
