Project Submissions

All teams competing at the WRO Sri Lanka Nationals 2026 are required to prepare and submit a Project Report, which plays a key role in the overall judging process.

The project report is mandatory for all teams and must be submitted before the competition day. The exact submission deadline will be announced by the National Organizer. On the competition day, teams must bring at least two printed copies of the report, one for the judges and one for viewing by visitors.
Please note: Project videos are not mandatory for the national competition.

The report must be submitted as a PDF file, written in English (or as specified by the National Organizer), with a maximum file size of 15 MB. The report should not exceed 20 single-sided pages (or 10 double-sided pages), excluding the cover page, table of contents, and list of sources. Reports exceeding the page limit will not be judged.

Each report must follow the official WRO report structure, including:

  • A mandatory cover page using the official WRO template
  • Team introduction and roles
  • Summary of the project idea
  • Clear presentation of the robotic solution and its value

The project report must be prepared by the team members themselves. Coaches may only provide guidance, especially for younger teams. Judges will assess the report based on clarity, structure, and how well it matches the team’s age category.
