Training Program for Teachers

On the 22nd of February 2025, five educators from BSS took an exciting leap into global best practices by attending a full-day training session on Finland’s acclaimed early childhood education model. With guidance from Finnish education specialists Anna-Maija Kuokkanen and Jenna Venäläinen, the workshop shed light on the fundamental principles that make the Finnish system one of the most effective in the world—emphasizing hands-on learning, student autonomy, and a nurturing environment.

Inspired by this knowledge, these educators extended their learning to the broader school community by leading an interactive workshop for the Preschool and Junior school staff. This exchange of ideas and strategies is a step towards enhancing our own classrooms with fresh, research-backed methodologies.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to progress, seamlessly integrating innovative techniques into our curriculum to provide students with a rich, engaging, and globally informed educational experience.
