Interior Designing Workshop
An Interior Designing Workshop was organized by Burhani Serendib School in collaboration with Academy of Design (AOD) on Friday the 2nd of October 2020 from 2.00pm to 6.00pm in the School Hall for the students of Form 3 to Upper 6. It was organized to help our students to:
- Gain an insight on Interior Designing and how it is executed.
- Explore the World of Arts and Designs.
- Take part in interactive sessions and brainstorming exercises.
- Become familiar with the career paths an Interior Designer can pursue.
The students who attended the workshop have been assigned to do a project in groups of 3. The project requires our students to collectively research, collate, explore and design, how their team envisions the School Canteen to be redesigned. After submission of the project, the students will be receiving a Certificate for learning the basic interior designing concepts and students who submit exceptional projects will receive Scholarships from AOD for further studies. This workshop will help our students to pursue a career in Interior Designing if they wish to do so in the future.
