CLEON Competition 2022/23

“If you can speak you can influence if you can influence you can change lives.” 

Ten students of Burhani Serendib school took part in the Island competition hosted by the CLEON ACADEMY OF SPEECH AND DRAMA, held on the 6th of October 2022, representing the Colombo district. 

Over 100 Students from Colombo took part and all our students performed exceptionally well, with three of our students making it to the finals.  

The Students that took part are as follows – 

Hussaina Mufaddal (KG)- Silver Medal 🥈 for Storytelling with 84 marks

Mufaddal Tanzul (P2) – Gold Medal 🏅 for Storytelling with 85 marks

Batul Juzer (P2)- Silver Medal 🥈 for Prose Reading with 77 marks

Batul Mufaddal Shabbir (P3) – Silver Medal 🥈 for Prose Reading with 84 marks

Insiya Mustansir (P3)- Silver Medal 🥈 for Storytelling with 80 marks

Batul Hussain Mansur (P4) Gold Medal 🏅 for Storytelling with 87 marks

Maryem Firoz (F1) Gold Medal 🏅 for Storytelling with 85 marks

Maryem Firoz (F1) Gold Medal 🏅 for Public Speaking (Inspirational) with 86 marks

The students who qualified for the finals securing 88 marks are

Batul Huzaifa (P3)- Gold Medal for Storytelling

Ammaar Mustafa (F1)- Gold Medal for Public Speaking (Persuasive)

Khadija Huzaifa (F2)- Gold Medal for Public Speaking (Inspirational)
