Mamma Mia by ICBSS

For the first time ever, ICBSS organised Mamma Mia, a project under the avenue of International Understanding on the 18th of March 2018 to celebrate International Women’s day and encourage the women of our community to rejoice in the spirit of womanhood and build up a sense of sisterhood and understanding amongst them.
Considering the limited number of seats available, Interactors were charged a registration fee of RS 2500/- while non-Interactors were required to pay a sum of RS 2900/- for a day trip to the Kukuleganga Laya Leisure Center encompassing a wide range of fun-filled and relaxing activities for the women including: Archery, Boat Riding, Zip-Lining, Yoga, etc…

The 36 participants were from varied age groups ranging from over 50 years to 16 year olds and each one of them truly enjoyed themselves at the event. The day wrapped up with a delicious buffet lunch and a unanimous vote by the participants for ‘Mamma Mia’ to be added as an annual project to the events calendar of ICBSS.

The project was chaired by Int. Sakina Shabbir and the project secretary was Int. Sakina Aliasger. Funds for Mamma Mia were gathered through banner advertisements and donations.
