Intercircles
The Interact club of Burhani Serendib School hosts Intercircles as a yearly club service initiative. The goal of this initiative is to spread Interacts delight to both new Interactors and those who have put in a lot of effort for the club in the past. Additionally, the initiative instructs Interactors on organizing and producing reports.
The project took place physically on the 5th of September after school hours at the Burhani Serendib School auditorium. We invited the past members of our club including Int. IPP. Rashida Juzer, Int. PP. Aarefa Murtaza and Rtr. Radiya Abid who motivated the Interactors and enlighten them on what the Interact Movement is by sharing their experiences in Interact in order to encourage young interactors to participate actively in this movement.
The current President, Secretaries and Treasurers also educated the Interactors on how Project Proposals, Project Secretary’s reports, Project Treasurers reports are to be made. As well as speaking about the history of Rotary, Rotaract and Interact. The Interact Board will also enlighten them about the ways in which projects are supposed to be carried out, the aim of the club this year is to motivate them to conduct projects with compassion.
The topics discussed were:
· Morals, values and concepts of the Interact movement.
· Avenues under which projects are conducted.
· How Interact clubs work under different districts.
· •Interact District 3220
· •District projects and District Council.
· What is the Interact Movement?
· •Its relation to Rotary and Rotaract
· •The benefits of the Interact Movement to the youth
The session was be concluded by dividing the attendees into groups and having them participate in a game of Two Truths and a Lie (Participants will state three facts about themselves one of them will be a lie that the remaining players will have to guess) this gave the interactors a chance to introduce themselves in a fun and engaging way.
